Landon found this robin's egg in the yard the other day.
He and the dc kids decided
to make a new nest for it out of grass.
(They later found a real nest in the yard for it!)
It's new home is in a shoebox on top of my refrigerator.
Every day the dc kids ask me if there is a baby bird yet.
I am going to try and find a little decorative/craft
bird at Walmart this weekend to surprise them with.
Shhhhh....
