Pinterest Projects Complete!

I know I've said it before, but I'm gonna say it again..... I LOVE PINTEREST! I completed a few super easy projects from their site today, for my clothes closet. (One of our bedrooms upstairs is really small. So, lucky me. The whole room is my closet!!) Here's what I did...

I hung a simple "over the door"

coat rack over the door, and

presto! Handy, dandy belt rack!

Got the rack at Menard's for $10!

Same simple coat rack, different door.

Might need two of these or I may have to

downsize on the purses! That poor door

might not last too long this way.

A simple towel bar and shower curtain hooks!

Now I can see all my necklaces at once!

Love it!!

Once again, Menard's.

Two $20 book cases from Target,

(Fleet Farm has had them cheaper, but

they were out of stock and I couldn't wait!)

make for one fine boot and sweater shelf!

Can't wait to try out a few more of their ideas!!

Taking A Drive Down Memory Lane

When I was a little girl, my dad had a truck like this.

It was blue and had a metal dashboard inside.

My mom took a piece of white chalk that he used for work,

and wrote their names on the dashboard with a heart around it.

I used to sit in that truck and just stare at the little heart.

I loved that heart. I couldn't read yet, but I knew what it said.

I could feel it in my heart.

 It was love.

Last fall, I had a girlfriend weekend in Fargo,

and when I spotted this truck, the memories and emotions

 just came flooding back! I had no choice, but to crawl up on that

truck and enjoy the memories for a little bit. I have always wanted

a truck like that. There is a fella here in our town that has one,

and it's all I can do not to ask him to take me for a spin!

Just might do it anyway.

This one has my name all over it!

Karate Kids

Landon "let" me take a shot of him and

his friend, Drew and Drew's little brother, Dillion.

I was hoping to get a few shots while they were practicing,

but Landon was quick to inform me of the rules.

Parents aren't allowed to take pictures or watch the kids during practice.

I noticed some parents were watching and when I tried to sneak a peek,

Landon gave me a stern look and he meant business!

He is really taking it serious, and I love that!

So this is as good as it's gonna get, and that's all right with me.
